Freddy "the Man" could kick A LOT of ass. I mean, he hunts where we are most vulnerable. Even if you're the type of person who finds themselves aware of your surroundings in a dream, it probably wouldn't cross your mind that some dude could kill you. Besides, no matter how well you can control your dreams or wake yourself up, it's still not the human territory. We don't fully understand dreams, but HE does.

There are so many old old legends about nightmares and how they are, in fact, dangerous ground.
