in his defense I honestly believe that reality tv should be banned and everyone who's ever been on one needs to be put to death. They don't need a horrible death, but they do need death.

For a reality show to beat Buffy and Tales from the Crypt is just really, really depressing.

Monk . . . great show

_____V_____ 02-10-2009 05:56 AM

Monk eventually wins with the run to 6,
The Avengers & Masters of Horror share 4-4 each,
while The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien gets eggfaced and blobs out!!

Dexter - the best show on TV for the last 35 years.

I love Lucy was a damn close second though

Family Guy

UngodlyWarlock 02-10-2009 09:55 AM

Still haven't seen Dexter S2, but I liked the first season enough. Unfortunately, I liked pretty much only Dexter as far as the cast goes.....

Still gets my vote by default.

ferretchucker 02-10-2009 10:19 AM

Family Guy.

neverending 02-10-2009 10:21 AM

Larry Sanders

Despare 02-10-2009 10:22 AM

Family Guy

Robot Chicken is great, Larry Sanders is funny sometimes (although not as often as he tries to be), and I really never got into The Sopranos (I've caught maybe three episodes and two were edited).

mikeyjay88 02-10-2009 10:37 AM

family guy for sure.

missmacabre 02-10-2009 11:22 AM

Robot Chicken I guess. I hate family guy with a passion.

UngodlyWarlock 02-10-2009 11:22 AM

Oops, guess I did the wrong round.
Family Guy for me, then.

They replay the hell out of it, I feel like I have "The Family Guy Channel" on all day, but it still cracks me up.

That'll be a hard one to beat for most of the tourney for me.

Larry Sanders

Doc Faustus 02-10-2009 12:49 PM

Family Guy. A Bizarro postmodern anti-sitcom that's actually funny and takes risks. Family Guy fights against the things that make people hate tv.

_____V_____ 02-10-2009 01:11 PM

Family Guy wins with a quick run to 6,
The Larry Sanders Show & Robot Chicken score 2-2 each,
while The Sopranos gets 1.

neverending 02-10-2009 01:30 PM

I would seriously vote for all 4... but I'm going to cast my vote for Quantum Leap. One of the most original shows on TV, had solid sci-fi ideas at its core, the stories were always interesting and Scott Bakula was GREAT as Dr. Sam Beckett. Not to mention Dean Stockwell.

fortunato 02-10-2009 01:35 PM

The Three Stooges

missmacabre 02-10-2009 01:44 PM

Oh FUCK

I don't know where my allegiance lies. I love them all. I need to think this over out loud. Quantum Leap made me have a crush on Scott Bakula and made me hate time travel for the first time. TNG is my first sci fi experience. Gilligans Island has given me hours of laughs including the time my friend Mike and I memorized the theme song to annoy our teacher in grade 4. I still know every word. Stooges are equally if not more funny that Gilligan.

I suppose my Trek fandom requires I vote TNG though. I'm not happy.

scouse mac 02-10-2009 01:54 PM

This is between quantum and next gen......toughie...but probably Next Generation sneaks it

The_Return 02-10-2009 02:16 PM

Star Trek: TNG was a staple of my childhood...it gets my vote easily.

ChronoGrl 02-10-2009 02:33 PM

This comes down to Star Trek and Quantum Leap for me (though this is a TOUGH one overall)...

I have to go with Quantum Leap.

Disease 02-10-2009 03:32 PM
