Any round immediately before the finals is generally considered the semi-finals. If there are going to be 3 (or more) shows in the finals, then it'd make sense that there'd be 3 (or more) semi-final rounds immediately preceeding the championship.

It's just that there is no such thing as a third semi final. So I don't know, maybe they should have been called somthing else. anyway, it is the way it is.

I adore The Twilight Zone, and Monty Python is always enjoyable...but Looney Tunes pretty much made me who I am today.

Some of the most brilliant sight gags, slapstick and one liners in history - and the fact that it's managed to stay relevant and has been creating laughter for the better part of a century is stunning. Python had a huge cultral impact: but NOTHING compared to Looney Tunes.
