Mind you, you have to know a little about the Hellraiser Universe as some of this info was more readily available in the comic series.

Morningriser 11-05-2015 09:15 AM

He was supposed to be called Hell Priest but Pinhead stuck. As far as his name goes I know it was Captain Spencer in the film but if you want the comic version I don't know it.

Well done! Elliot Spencer! Clive Barker hates the name Pinhead, and in The Scarlet Gospels he makes it clear by making Pinhead hate the name as well. He is also referred to as the Lead Cenobite in a lot of things, but from the most recent book you come to realize he is just one of an order of thousands of priests, who dreams to be more.

Morningriser 11-05-2015 02:54 PM

In the movie May, May's doll Susie lightly whispers two words at one point in the film. What did she whisper?

Sculpt 11-05-2015 05:04 PM

"diaper wet"

Damn I'm glad I know Clive Barker hates the name Pinhead. I knew the nickname before I saw the movies and didn't think much of it, but after I saw the movies I couldn't help but think the name sounded so demeaning to such an iconic and boss character. Hell Priest sounds so much more badass. I want to try making it a habit to call him by that title now.

Sculpt 11-12-2015 05:10 PM

I just watched May, and I heard the whispering a few times in the film, but couldnt make out any words; wasnt in the the subtitles either. What did you hear May say to you, Morningriser? ::wink::

Morningriser 11-12-2015 05:20 PM

There were a few times you could hear gibberish but after she broke the glass on the doll's case you can lightly hear her whisper "help me"

Sculpt 11-12-2015 09:54 PM

Where does the stuff come from, in Larry Cohen's classic, The Stuff?

Sculpt 11-14-2015 08:02 PM

outerspace, ultimately, if i remember correctly.

Repo'd 11-14-2015 08:32 PM

I believe its origins are unknown. It does, as you know, ooze up ready to eat from the ground.

I admit, you did give me second thoughts but unless there's a sequel I'm unaware of that claims space is it's home, the stuff comes from mother earth.

I saw about 5 years ago. Just a recollection guess. Didnt mean for ya to give up the answer. Or is the ground not the answer youre looking for?

Repo'd 11-14-2015 08:42 PM

Yep, wanted the ground. I figured since you guessed, I'd give up the answer.
