Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

I really wanted to bash this one, but...

"there are some things in life, you hate to like, despite all your dislike towards it."

Guess it has grown on me, and its a superb step forward from Judgement Day.

Brutal Massacre: A Comedy

I dug this, wasn't sure if I would but the great cast really pulls it off. One of the better comedies I've seen in awhile.

CrimsonFiend138 09-03-2008 07:24 PM

House of 1000 corpses.

I watched this a few years ago when I was younger and didn't really like it,but now that I went back and watched it I really thought it was a great movie.

One of my all time favorites. Bill Mosely is amazing as Otis

The Thing followed by Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Despite some people saying burton has lost his touch, I liked this one from the first time I saw it. Johnny Depp rips people apart with glee, what's not to love? :)

I never knew he was Choptop until about 2 years ago!! Have you ever heard his band with buckethead, cornbugs LOL?

I also want to add that I thought I never liked Sherri moon but after watching this I thought she was so hot and I wish I had a hot girlfriend that wouldn't mind leaving up the halloween decorations year round. As far as having a psychotic family, it would make me sick knowing what they were doing but I guess I could deal with it.

Silk. pretty good - kept me interested.

funny gaff at the beginning where the dead canadian guy's mouth moves
when the girl is stepping over his body.

she probably didnt wear underwear as a joke and he almost licked his lips. thats my guess.

urgeok2 09-04-2008 04:58 PM

Pray (Tartan Extreme)

pretty good ... failed to progress a lot of the time and featured the typical cliche japanese thugs .. but not bad

jugchord 09-04-2008 06:37 PM

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2- It was okay it had alright gore, but overall it was just a parady of the original.

the fall (2006)

wow, what a blast!
a fantastical, humorous, and touching story that plays out in both fantasy and reality.
solid acting and an excellent story provide a strong foundation upon which stunning visuals and gorgeous compositions are layered, and layered, and layered.

my problem with the cell was that while it looked fantastic, the story was kind of lame. really nothing there other than an incredible look. it always felt very hollow.
however, tarsem singh got it right this time, in a big way.

in my opinion, one of the best new films i've seen this year.
highly recommended.

Geddy 09-05-2008 01:17 AM

-Amelie.
-The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou.

urgeok2 09-05-2008 05:22 AM

The Machine Girl.

hmmm - i have to admit - the joke wore extremely thin for me soon into the movie. the gore effects were funny - but quickly became repetative - and i grew tired of the horrible lines and obnoxious soundtrack almost immediately.

didnt enjoy this ome much at all.
I thought the Story of Ricky did similar things - but much better.

from what i've seen there will be no need at all to try and find Tokeo Gore Police..looks like exactly the same nonsence.

urgeok2 09-05-2008 05:23 AM

All Night Long - hackman/streisand 80's movie (dennis quaid is the 18 year old son) Streisand looked delish in this one.

bloody_ribcut 09-05-2008 07:21 AM

here and there a few minutes of Fido. from what i seen, i probably wont finish it.

thats crazy - one of the best zombie films i've ever seen - and i've seen a lot.

i suggest you see it properly .. beginning to end ...
you're not giving it the chance it deserves.

if you've never seen anything like it before - i think you'd find it fun..

i had high hopes but this film didnt life up to them.

(if i was to be totally honest with myself - i'd have to say i didnt care for it at all .. i'm sick of shitty music - specifically the crap used in this movie - and i'm sick of stupid stories for the sole purpose of showcasing funny - but repetative gore effects)

it just felt redundant and juvinile

its probably the time set that made me bored, as a kid to this day any movie set in the 50's and 60's put me to sleep.

my brother seemed interested this morning before school, so maybe i'll have to finish watching it on my computer through netflix.

Superhero movie

Pretty much what I expected a few laughs but just another bad movie.

4/10

urgeok2 09-05-2008 11:33 AM

Spider Forest : well acted mess. convoluted and confusing, despite the telegraphed ending.

Cello : Ok - i need a break from asian horror - they're getting too predictable.

Jacobs Ladder had a lot of inflience in asia from what I've seen lately.

if they had failed at it - it would have sunk the movie ..

but they did it brilliantly - with amazing continuity .. it makes the film.

i dont have either of those yet - but i have another 16 or so Tartan Asia Extreme titles to get through yet.

last seen :

Maximum Overdrive. guilty pleasure.
the DVD is cut though - i remember some extended gore scenes when i saw it in the theatre that dont exist now (the pop can in the forehead for one)

urgeok2 09-05-2008 06:21 PM

Aliens of the Deep - cool film, but James Cameron sure looks like a dick

Screwed (norm macdonald) some good laughs

Super High Me

i guess it could be a little entertaining to smokers.

The Cats Eye

brought back memories. i must of been real young, back when i watched it as a kid i thought the troll story was a whole movie.
