Mass Effect 3, and with all the people complaining about the ending. The ending is not that bad, it is an ending of a series.

"I Am Alive" PS3
So far it's pretty cool. |
I played the "I am Alive" demo myself...Man, I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for this game, the two trailers came out SO fucking long ago, and it looked like just my type of game.
I was a bit disappointed that it must have had some problems to be launched as a "downloadable only" title, but it's good that it's finally arrived - I was apprehensive at first thinking it wouldn't be as immersive as it could be, but that doesn't seem to be a problem. Really nice looking game too...feels very alone and tense... I really enjoyed the demo, will be buying as soon as I'm done with the game I'm currently playing through. |
I was skeptic due to the low price. Was afraid it would turn out to be a very short game.
But so far i've been playing it for 4 hours and completed 10% of the game. Don't really have anything negative to say about it yet other than some minor movement problems at times when climbing. |
Right now playing through the first "Lego Harry Potter" game.
Probably the best LEGO entry since the Star Wars one...didn't much like Indiana Jones to the point I didn't bother past a stage or two, and LEGO Batman was ok, finished it, but seemed like more of the same old. While LEGO HP is the same type of game, there's definitely a lot more ways to interact with the environments and objects around you. All of the LEGO games are at very least "fun" to play and give appropriate respect to the subject material, and this one's no exception. I'm enjoying it, reminds me of simpler times in gaming. |
Rodent's Revenge
It's an old windows game (like Solitaire or Minesweeper) where you play a little mouse that pushes blocks around to trap cats and turn them into cheese. |

BEAST! |
If I can find time to play these games, here's what's in queue heh.
Okami on the PS2 Deadly Premonition on the 360 Thief: Deadly Shadows on the XBox Breath of Fire II on my phone |
What's Okami actually like?
I don't even think I've ever seen footage of the game... Quote:
Bit annoying, it looked like it had potential. |

Okami is fun, it's an action game with some cool little innovations. The art style is amazing IMO. He does an ok job of explaining it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNXCcW3Mpb4 |
"Civilization revolution" PS3
Answer me this. Where's the revolution?? Still good fun tho. |
Started on 'Splosion Man.
It's fun, and frustratingly difficult at times. Have had this one for a while now, will put some time in. Before that, I tried to put on "Knights Contract". Wow, what a boring game. Turned it off after about 15 minutes. Next up is "Limbo", looking forward to this one. |
The Darkness II, taking my time with this one but it's quite good.
|
So at the moment I've played a few games on the WII, but the one I'm actually playing through is called "Mystery Case Files - The Malgrave Incident"
These kind of games, I always think they'll sound very boring when I explain them to people... It's a "hidden item" type game. For those of you that don't know what I mean, there's carious scenarios that are a bit like the "Where's Waldo/ly" series - You have to scan through a scene full of random items and objects, and find the objects that are indicated on a list. In this game, they've actually introduced more of a storyline element to it which I quite like, and haven't contained the puzzles to the hidden item bits either, you have to explore, interact with the environment and actually make USE of some of the items you come across to interact with further scenes, solve other types of puzzles, or gain access to certain areas of the game. I would say that this game is maybe the best example of the genre that I've seen...though I've not seen all that many. It's fun, and relaxing to play. No gaming skill really required - just observation and problem solving sewn into a mystery storyline. I want to mention a demo I played on PS3 as well. I think this one is going to be on 360 as well. It's called "Spec Ops - The Line". Wow...what a cool looking game... I remember the original, or one of the originals on dreamcast actually pissed me off. Not this one though. Bit like uncharted meets COD. VERY nice looking game, seems to have an alright storyline for a military shooter as well. User friendly controls, good atmosphere, and as I said DAMN it's shiny. Grab the demo. |
There was a game on the original Playstation called Silverload. Pretty similar i think. Remember being scared as shit playing it. Cant imagine what it looks like nowadays. Speaking of PS.
Twisted Metal for PS3. If you played and loved Twisted Metal 2 youll love this. Hours of mindless, fun, carnage. Wish they came out with a new Jet Moto.... |
Cosmic Spacehead on the Sega Megadrive can't believe mine still works.
|
Bought Serious Sam complete pack and playing Serious Sam HD: First Encounter and Serious Sam: Double D.
Also Aliens Vs Predator (2010) |
Borderlands (360).
Picked it up for $8, thinking nothing of it... It may be my favorite game in the last few years. It's so good. Its like Fallout, mixed with XIII, and AWESOME weapon loot. AND brilliant co-op and online play. HIGHLY recommended. |
Aliens Vs Predator (PS3)
|
Lone Survivor
Pretty crazy survival horror indie game, I'm interested to see how it ends. It's like one part NES, one part Cronenberg, and one part Lynch. |
Started playing Batman: Arkham City from the beginning again
|
"Pure Chess" PSN
Yea... i've gotten old. :o |
Not much time but Breath Of Fire on the SNES.

2. I didn't play them when I was younger. But in comparison to modern games the graphics are fine in my opinion. I'd recommend selecting new voices when you have the option to, I think the original drone on a little. Gameplay is still as frustrating as the PS2 version. :p But I'm a sucker for a story line, so I can dismiss most other game qualities as long as that keeps me interested. Hence why I thought Deadly Premonition was awesome. :D |
Going to pick up Lollipop Chainsaw one of these days.
|
I'm playing Diablo3 and StarCraft 2 atm! ;]
And some DayZ! |
Diablo III all the way to Inferno... and maybe later some sprincles of Lollipop Chainsaw... not sure the game will be able to live up to the hype though... was also slightly disappointed by DIII...

I broke out my Retro Duo Twin and my old Nintendo cartridges last night...after going through them for a while I finally decided on playing The Legend Of Zelda. I haven't played it in close to 20 years so we'll see how much I can remember :)
|
Looking forward to Lollipop Chainsaw, but waiting for the price point to come down; doesn't sound as though it's worth the $60.
... FINALLY just bought Batman: Arkham Asylum for the PS3... What a blast. Gorgeous graphics, fun game play... Love it so far. |

Still Call Of Duty MW3 online, i haven't even played the story mode since getting it at Christmas, im addicted to the online play.
I have Arkham City here also that i must play. |
Alice - Madness Returns
I enjoyed the first one when it came out, and this one seems like a good enough sequel. Keeps the theme and atmosphere of the original, but it's built on that a fair bit too - quite a few new additions. It's weird, and it looks nice, as did the first. My only complaint at the moment is that in staying true to the original they've made the game (at least at this point) seem just a little simplistic and linear. Though, I am enjoying it and will play through to the end. |
What game I am playing
Dark meadow the pact it's a great game but it's more of a very dark kind of game then scary but the graphics are great and the bad guys well they look like something out of silent hill.
