Thought I'd give "God of War" another try.
Good story. Great looking game. It's hard not to see it as sluggish compared with the original trilogy though. The combat...having to turn around all the time...I hate not having full field of vision. I'll try stick with it. |

ahh, i havnt tried cyberpunk yet, I heard that there is no such thing as a game with no bugs, but some definitely have more than others... |

It might finally bite that Cyberpunk company since people are getting refunds. Although it will probably really hurt on their next project. I have a feeling that the mass audience doesn't care that much. But the real gamers and people who help sell the game will. Also, their financial support companies will too. |

Never had a problem with bugs in Ubisoft games. Might be because I play them on PlayStation, I don’t know.
|
I've been playing the first Dead Rising on ps4, i've never tried this one before but so far it is primitive feeling to the 2 other ones Ive played and beat (2, and 4) Ive always enjoyed these games, even though they can really piss you off sometimes, (especially if you forget to save)
|
I prefer Dead Island.
|
dead rising has too many annoyances, though i love the style in a whole different way...mall zombies, everything is a weapon, the photography, creative psychopaths, and the comedy horror.... dead island was awesome! Though not perfect .. I never beat the sequel riptide tho, but i have it on ps3, and the first one on ps4, may have to give it a try, and also get back to ps3's dead space aswell while im at it...
I still prefer resident evil zombies. Dying light was also fun, Don't forget Zombie army, I was addicted to zombie army trilogy.... |
I am almost done with DEad rising and its only the 3rd day, quickest i've ever gotten through a dead rising game, it is not an easy game made for everyone, but once i figured out the flow I was creating techniques in my head throughout the whole game, ways to zombie surf (jumping at the right time to get away from the zombies haha), aiming weapons, and overall little systems you have to get used to which makes it more complicated than other zombie games.
first zombie game I ever played was zombie ate my neighbors! on snes, |
I don't even think I got halfway through Dead Rising. Just wasn't for me.

some great ones I've seen that assassins creed horror before ::big grin:: |
I'm going to give up on God of War...I just do not like it.
I mean, I like the storyline and everything, just in comparison to the earlier titles the combat seems simplstic, sluggish and well, boring. I hate the over the shoulder perspective as some will know about me, but I thought I'd try...because up until now I have loved the franchise and really wanted to make a go of it... For me, how a character moves around and how comfortable you are with a control system etc is a fundamental part of my enjoyment of a game...it can be great otherwise, but issues like this are like wearing a pair of nice shoes with a pebble stuck under your foot...I can try to ignore it, but really it's just a constant irritation. Can't help but feel "If it aint broke..." about this to be honest, and just every time I play it, I encounter the same feelings about it. It's disappointing to me, because just like RE4, something came along that made changes that I hate, and the rest of the series just f'n stayed like that., It's a pretty game, I will give it that. The voice acting is solid, and they appear to be telling quite an interesting tale, perhaps moreso than the games that came before it, but what can I say...I've tried it 3 times now, twice recently...and it's not like I wasn't making progress, but...I'm just done. I'll be watching a longplay...but yeah unless future GOW titles are more along the lines of the other ones, I will consider the franchise to have ended after #3. Rant done. Next up: The Outer Worlds |
I really hope they go back to the original style of God of war too, as much as i did enjoy this one , the environments and monsters, and graphics were pretty nice, but it definitely felt like a different franchise, I beat this game some time ago...
|
I'm not even sure I got halfway through it. Beautiful looking world, but the hack & slash stuff... nah.
Don't think I got further in The Outer Worlds either. |
Have you ever tried Devil May Cry 5, kinda reminded me of that style a bit, hack slash, but everything looks nice,

Damn you dont like many games do you...
dead rising is not for noobs or people who get bored/annoyed easily of games, its a hard game and in some ways a terrible game, but i had alot of fun with it all at the same time once i got the initial flow of it, it was easy to beat for me i tend to beat most games i play, besides games like dark souls and fuckin subnautica........some games suck ass the more you progress.....anyone ever play....no man's sky....aka the biggest disappointment in gaming ever(debatable) hahaha now that game i guess turned out alright with the new patches/additions to it now u can drive stuff around idk didnt try it i was too pissed at the original version when it first came out,it gets worse as u play it realizing youre just wasting your time chiseling at rocks and creating parts for your spaceship (booooring), and its repetitive nothing throughout the whole game....not to mention that guy lied so much about the games features before it came out and than hid in a hole once everyone realized.... |

I really liked Subnautica. Thanks to the internet I managed to beat that game. Didn’t get as far in the sequel tho. Maybe because it was all the same once again. But I might give it a second try or a third as I love the concept. |
I may have to retry it I have a saved file i can always go back to, but i tend to just get stuck , it tells me to create these different things that help with different things, but sometimes i can't find the items searching the ocean, crazy game,

Stranded Deep.
Bit Grindy and annoying, having to keep yourself alive while scavenging bits and pieces to build rafts, farm, make fuel, kill sharks etc....on your way to (it seems) fixing up a small plane on a broken ship. It's "ok". I kind of like and dislike it at the same time. |
Quote:
It's kind of like, I get that "in such a situation" one would have to make sure to eat, drink, stay out of the sun etc...but it's a double edge there...because while I appreciate the game for these things, it steers me so much into the territory of "yeah...but this isn't game stuff...". Love/hate. I like the structure, control, order and it gives me something there, just...it kind of feels like it isn't thr stuff of gaming. Maybe one in VR would be alright. I feel like that's a genre that would actually work. |
Just started playing Last of Us part 2, i was a fan of the first, so far this looks like its gonna be good.

LOL I must have been stoned and hit edit instead of reply...my bad...

At least in Subnautica I had the choise to avoid hunger/thirst. |
Oh I have that one too.
Looks a bit more fleshed out an experience too. |
Turok evolution on gamecube, had to come back to this old turok game i really liked shooting the reptilians, tho the aiming system in this is a bit bad, i still got into the whole system of it in a fun way, i didnt think it was as good as Turok 2 on n64, i felt like the bosses and feel of it was better.

I noticed last night that The Forrest has been made VR. As I already own the normal version the VR game will have to be cheap before I would consider trying it out. But it’s the right kind of game to make VR. And speaking of VR, I just got Oculus Quest 2 (wireless). THAT’s the future of VR. When it comes to pixels it’s a bit better than PS VR and their game catalogue really isn’t impressive. But it’s wireless which makes all the difference. There’s so much Technology behind these goggles it’s impressive. I can easily see them being used for AR games, which would be really sweet. Horror AR games. |
Neverending Nightmares on ps4....the whole game is made up of drawings
this game is fun! just like the title says neverending nightmares, u get killed or "wake up" its just another nightmare, i enjoy it, and its a cool adventure so far |

Dark Souls 3
I know I won't get very far in it because I'm not a very good gamer, but I just love these games so damn much and they are on sale on the PS right now. |
